Walter Luther Bryant, 84, died Feb. 3, 2010, at the Brian Center.

A native of Center Sandwich, N.H., he was the son of the late Leon and Beryl Bacon Bryant. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Beryl Ellen Bryant.

Mr. Bryant was a graduate of Camden High School. He was a World War II Army veteran, and was a member of the American Legion for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy L. Bryant; his children, Diana Trombly and her husband, Ronald Sr., of Jacksonville, N.C., Brenda Taylor of Warren, Rex Bryant Sr. and his wife, Annmarie, of Sandwich, Mass., Judy McKinnon and her husband, Daryl, of Hooksett, N.H., Paul Bryant and his wife, Lisa, of Stuarts Draft, Va., and Susan Ritter and her husband, Bernard, of Merrimack, N.H.; his brother, Leon F. Bryant Jr. of Rockland; a sister-in-law, Eileen Polk of Rockport; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in West Rockport.
