An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Rockland police responded to the following calls from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1.

Jan. 28

Officer James Jillson responded to an alarm on Merrill Drive.

Officer John Bagley responded to a suspicious vehicle outside the transfer station entrance.

Officer Scott Solorzano responded to an alarm on High Street.

Justin Moccia, 23, of Rockland was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court in Androscoggin County on a criminal mischief complaint.

Jan. 29

Officers Daniels and Solorzano responded to vehicles violating the overnight parking ban.

Officer Jillson responded to a personal injury crash at the intersection of Cedar and Brewster streets. A 1990 Jeep headed east on Cedar Street and driven by Lawrence A. Wotton-Thayer, 22, of Rockland veered to the right to avoid a car it thought was entering the intersection at Brewster Street. The Jeep struck snow on the sidewalk and went out of control and struck a parked bucket truck. A 19-year-old passenger in the Jeep was injured.

Officer Jillson responded to a trespassing complaint at the Thorndike Creamery.

Sgt. Don Finnegan responded to a trespassing complaint on Brewster Street.

Officer Jillson responded to a property damage crash at Wal-Mart. Two vehicles were backing out of spaces at the same time. There were no injuries. Damage was about $1,000 to both vehicles.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to an animal welfare complaint on Limerock Street.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a chimney fire on Limerock Street.

Officer Solorzano responded to a harassment complaint on Pine Street.

Jan. 30

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint at the Time Out Pub.

Officer Solorzano responded to an animal problem by the library.

Officer Jillson responded to a domestic complaint at the Brunswick Rooms.

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to a property damage crash on Broadway by Summer Street.

Sgt. Smith responded to a property damage crash at the Harbor Plaza Shopping Center off Camden Street.

Officer Andrew Redden responded to a property damage crash on Grace Street. There were no injuries.

Sgt. Anthony Camporiale responded to an animal problem on Rockland Street.

Officer Redden responded to a harassment complaint.

Jennifer Fetteroli, 33, of Rockland was arrested for operating under the influence.

Jan. 31

Officer William Smith responded to a drug complaint by the parking lot of the Circle K convenience store. Vaughn Murphy, 45, of Warren was arrested for operating under the influence and was issued a warning for possession of marijuana.

Officer Solorzano responded to a motor vehicle burglary on Masonic Street.

Sgt. Smith responded to a personal injury crash on Main Street by Limerock Street.

Feb. 1

Officer Joel Neal responded to assist Thomaston in a fatal car/pedestrian crash on Route 1 in Thomaston.
