Literacy Volunteers of Mid-Coast Maine invites community members to participate in its next Healthy Living Through Literacy workshop, which is about the proper disposal of medications and reading prescription labels. The workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 11 at 9 a.m. at the Mid-Coast Adult Learning Center, 28 Lincoln St. (second floor of McLain School) in Rockland.

The workshops help adults make improved decisions about their personal and family health care. Participants will learn about healthy behaviors and how to access and use community health resources and information. The workshop is free.
