On Sunday afternoons throughout the winter, the downtown Farnsworth Art Museum will be offering a series of Art Lecture Redux videos in its auditorium. This special series re-screens a select few of the museum’s summer and fall lectures and panel discussions, originally presented live to sold-out audiences.

The third in the series will take place Sunday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. and will feature the July 23, 2009 Farnsworth Forum with Philippe de Montebello, in which the renowned former director of The Metropolitan Museum of Art discussed topics such as public trust, maintaining a permanent collection, repatriation of art works and the role of the arts and humanities in American culture.

The cost is $7, $5 for museum members. There are no advance reservations. The next Art Lecture Redux presentation will feature the Farnsworth Forum with David McCullough and will be screened Sunday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m.
