More than 100 items are available for bidding at the Waldoboro Public Library for the next two weeks at the Love Your Library Annual Silent Auction.

In addition to continued support and donations from favorites such as Moody’s Diner, The Narrows Tavern, Curtis Custom Meats, Thomaston Cafe, Maine Coast Book Shop, McKean & Charles Wine Merchants, and Dow Furniture, there are several new entries. The 995 Main Restaurant has provided several opportunities to dine with them. ALLPLaY Family Entertainment Center and Damariscotta Lake Farm have donated packages, and several Friends of the Library members have handcrafted beautiful pieces and furnishings.

There is more than one opportunity to cruise the beautiful bays: on the Olad schooner out of Camden, the mailboat to Monhegan, a puffin Cruise with Hardy Boat Cruises, on a kayak or two, and even a cruise and picnic on a custom tugboat. Auction items also include ski tickets to the Camden Snow Bowl, a ride on the Eastern Maine Railroad, a week in a cabin on Damariscotta Lake, dining in an elegant setting at the Clark Mansion, a session at one of the many hair salons in the community, and massages at Dell Essency or Cole Care.

Many of the auction items are on display at the library where the bidding takes place during a two-week period from Jan. 28 to Feb. 13. Proceeds from the auction benefit the operating funds of the library.
