ROCKPORT — The Rockport Public Library will host a meeting of the BookLovers’ Cafe for Kids on Friday, Feb. 5 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Come prepared to recommend a favorite book, find some titles to add to a holiday reading list or just listen. DAMARISCOTTA — The Monday, Feb. 1 meeting of the Miles Memorial Hospital League will be held at Schooner Cove, 35 Schooner Road in Damariscotta. The luncheon meeting will start at 11:30 a.m. Katherine Cole will discuss the new nursing school, located on Chapman Street, that is associated with Lincoln County Health Care. The business meeting will follow.

Benefit spaghetti supper for Noyes

WASHINGTON — A benefit spaghetti supper will be held at the Evening Star Grange in Washington on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to help Steven Noyes cover the cost of the recent funeral for his father, Sheldon Noyes. The supper will include spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and desserts. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and younger. The dinner is co-sponsored by the Evening Star Grange and the Mount Olivet Lodge of Masons. The grange is located at 31 Old Union Road across the street from Gibbs Library. Class focuses on move from good intentions to results

CAMDEN — Certified life coach Nancy Lubin will lead a class called Let Everything Appear Possible. She said having group support and encouragement can make the difference between meeting goals and giving up on them.

The group will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of February, March and April starting Feb. 4. The location in Camden will be announced. The cost is $30 per meeting or $150 for six meetings if paid in advance.

Using their collective wisdom, as well as other resources, participants will move desires into action steps and discover new possibilities. Group members will share progress and pitfalls as each person creates a plan to accomplish their goals. Space is limited.
