Lena Rose Page, 94, a resident of Tewksbury, Mass., for 42 years, died Jan. 15, 2010, at the Homestead in Owls Head, following a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Sumner Everett Page, who died March 28, 1990.

She was born in Gorham, N.H., on Aug. 20, 1915, a daughter of the late Joseph Toppi and Conchetta (Dalfonso) Toppi. She raised her family in Somerville and Tewksbury. She relocated to Owls Head in 2008. In her earlier years, she worked in manufacturing, as a licensed practical nurse, then as a Stanley home dealer for more than 40 years.

She is survived by four children, Dolores Ventre of Somerville, Joseph Reiss and his wife, Bernice, of Tewksbury, E. Wade Page and his wife, Mary, of North Chelmsford and Gordon Page and his wife, Janet, of Owls Head; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Carmella Echols and her husband, William, of Foxboro; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother of the late Karen Page, who died Nov. 16, 2009, and sister of the late Lucy Deluca, Paul Toppi, Fred Toppi, John Toppi, Mary Marzuolo and Philomena Micucci.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey and Main streets (Route 38) in Tewksbury Center; 978-851-2950. Her funeral will begin Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Route 38) in Tewksbury. Burial will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery.
