The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to work at the reception desk in its visitor information center. This is a chance for residents who love Midcoast Maine to share its treasures with others.

The chamber of commerce is looking for people with a good working knowledge of the area and who enjoy working with the public.

The chamber is located at One Park Drive in Rockland, in the same building as the Maine Lighthouse Museum, overlooking the harbor and Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.

PBRCC needs volunteers to work at the front desk and greet visitors. Many people come in looking for information and enjoy speaking with someone who has first-hand knowledge of the area. The chamber of commerce is a membership organization that promotes and supports its members and the economic well-being of the community.

Volunteers also answer the telephone and assist with office tasks when needed. Now is a good time to come in and learn the ropes before the busy summer season.
