An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Rockland police responded to the following complaints from Jan. 4 to Jan. 11.

Jan. 4

Officer Lloyd Daniels responded to a theft on North Main Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a property damage crash in front of the fire station on Park Street. There were no injuries.

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to a theft at the Trade Winds Motor Inn.

Sgt. Smith responded to an animal problem at the intersection of Pleasant and Broad streets.

Detective Sgt. Chris Young responded to a burglary on Park Street.

Officer Scott Solorzano responded to a disorderly complaint on Lindsey Street.

Ann Bacon, 57, of Rockland was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an operating under the influence charge out of Lincoln County.

Benjamin C. Sheehan, 38, a transient, was arrested on two warrants and for violating condition of release.

Jan. 5

Officers Joel Neal and Clifford Watson responded to overnight parking violations.

Animal Control Officer Jeffrey McLaughlin responded to an animal problem on Maverick Street.

Sgt. Smith responded to a property damage crash at Wal-Mart. There were no injuries.

Sgt. Donald Finnegan responded to a theft at T.J. Maxx. Hanna Berta, 18, of Rockport was arrested for theft. Zoe Jones, 18, of Camden was arrested for theft.

Sgt. Camporiale responded to a disorderly complaint on Gay Street.

Officer Solorzano responded to a disorderly complaint on Main Street.

Jan. 6

Officer Clifford Watson responded to a theft complaint on Lindsey Street.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to the report of a deceased person being found on North Main Street.

Officer James Jillson responded to a harassment complaint on Lindsey Street.

Officer Watson responded to a trespassing complaint on Gay Street. Mechele Brown, 43, no address available, was arrested for criminal trespass.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to a crash on Park Street by Puffin Stop. One person was taken to the hospital complaining of pain.

Officer Watson responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Main Street at U.S. Cellular.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on upper Park Street.

Jan. 7

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a property damage crash at Tea and Gay streets. There were no injuries.

Officer Jillson responded to a theft complaint on Rankin Street.

Officer John Bagley responded to an animal welfare complaint at the Fieldcrest Apartments.

Officer Watson responded to a harassment complaint on Fulton Street.

Officer Watson responded to a trespassing complaint behind Rock Coast Sports.

Officer Solorzano responded to a property damage crash on Pleasant Street.

Jan. 8

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint at the Brunswick Rooms.

Officer Solorzano responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Lindsey Street.

Officer Jillson responded to a property damage crash on Main Street. There were no injuries.

Tiffany Batty, 28, of Rockland was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines.

Officer Jillson responded to a theft at the Circle K South convenience store on Camden Street.

Officer Jillson responded to a theft complaint on Suffolk Street.

Animal Control Officer McLaughlin responded to an animal problem on Rankin Street.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to an animal problem on Thomaston Street.

Officer Jillson responded to an assault on Fulton Street.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a harassment complaint.

Sgt. Camporiale responded to a harassment complaint on Pleasant Street.

Officer Solorzano responded to a theft complaint on Warren Street.

Priscilla Robinson, 20, of Thomaston was arrested for operating after suspension.

Paul Heino, 34, of Rockland was arrested for warrants out of Lincoln County.

Jan. 9

Officer Jillson responded to a theft complaint near Hannaford Supermarket.

Officer Jillson responded to a property damage crash at Hannaford Supermarket. There were no injuries.

Officer William Smith responded to a threatening complaint on Masonic Street.

Officer Smith responded to a drug complaint at the Knox County Jail.

Ashley Griffin, 25, of Rockland was arrested for operating under the influence. Griffin was also arrested for unlawful possession of drugs.

Jan. 10

Officer Solorzano responded to an animal welfare complaint on Rankin Street.

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to a property damage crash in the Wal-Mart parking lot. There were no injuries.

Officer Daniels responded to an animal problem at Snow Marine Park.

Officer Daniels responded to a disorderly complaint in the Wasses parking lot by the Rankin Center.

Officer Smith responded to a drug complaint on North Main Street.

Bennett Lorraine, 23, of Appleton was arrested for operating under the influence.

Officer Joel Neal responded to an animal problem on Camden Street.
