Cub Scouts from Pack 215 visited Lowe’s home improvement store in Thomaston on Jan. 9 to learn about tools. Scouts and their families worked together to complete a coin bank Build and Grow project. Lowe’s provided the tools and supplies to complete the project as well as a certificate and patch for each participant. Scouts were also given a tour of the store and were instructed on tool use, care and safety.

Lowe’s offers free Build and Grow clinics two Saturdays each month. For more information contact the Thomaston store at 226-4036.

Cub Scouts is open to all boys in grades one through five. Pack 215 serves boys in the Thomaston and Cushing communities and welcomes new members at any time. For more information call Aimee Sanfilippo at 354-9531.
