The Monday Night Blues series continues Jan. 22 with Mr. Nick and The Dirty Tricks at Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. The Boston band will play from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $10.

Composed of four respected New England bluesmen, Mr. Nick & The Dirty Tricks have been performing together since 2007.

Vocalist and harp man Nick “Mr. Nick” David was the longtime frontman of Mr. Nick’s Blues Mafia and Queen City Kings. The Dirty Tricks feature “Lonely” Gus Carlson, from Lonely Gus and the One Night Stand, on guitar and vocals; Rick Rousseau, formerly of the Movers and Rhumboogie, on drums and vocals; and Teddy B., one-time bass player for The Toni Lynn Washington and KD Bell bands, on upright and electric bass. Mr. Nick and The Dirty Tricks has something for every blues fans, from propulsive Chicago blues to jump blues to soul blues.
