The downtown Farnsworth Art Museum is offering an Art Lecture Redux series this winter. Some of last summer and fall’s popular lecture events were filmed and the results will be screened in the museum’s auditorium.

On Sunday, Jan. 17, at 3 p.m., “A Tribute to Andrew Wyeth” will be screened. The program took place May 23, 2009 at the Strand Theatre. In addition to remarks by the Governor, it included a panel discussion moderated by Michael K. Komanecky, the Farnsworth’s Interim Director and Chief Curator. Panel members included Warren Adelson, Bo Bartlett, Richard Merriman, Peter Ralston and Froelich Weymouth. They discussed their memories and impressions of the late Andrew Wyeth.

On Sunday, Jan. 30 at 3 p.m., the series will screen “A Conversation with Jamie Wyeth, which took place Aug. 5, 2009. Komanecky interviewed Jamie Wyeth, who discussed his exhibition “The Seven Deadly Sins.”

Seating in the downstairs Farnsworth auditorium is limited to 70 people. Admission at the door will be $7, $5 for museum members.
