The Camden Public Library will host an informal group interested in the ins and outs of personal investment. The group, Mainely Stocks, will help members find great investment ideas, uncover the best Web sites and resources on the Internet, and generate big profits.

Topics include value investing, technical analysis, swing trading, macroeconomics, and much more. Mainely Stocks is open to investors of any experience. Beginners are more than welcome. The first meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. in the second floor meeting room.

The club will be facilitated by Mark Feldman, a self-described “stock market addict.” Feldman has been investing independently full time for three years, managing portfolios for family members. He has never worked on Wall Street and has never accepted a bailout. He is not a broker and he does not represent any financial institution, but he does love the stock market.

The group will meet on the second Thursday of the month in the second floor meeting room at the library, beginning Jan 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. The next meeting dates are Feb. 11, March 11 and April 8.

For more information call the library at 236-3440 or e-mail Feldman at Participants are invited to bring their own laptops.
