The Visual & Performing Arts Department at Camden Hills Regional High School presented the January student of the month award to Henry Marchetti.

Marchetti started working in the clay room as a junior and has been hooked ever since. As a senior, he has been involved in the clay process on a daily basis and his creative ceramic work has grown exponentially. He completed many bowls for the annual Empty Bowl event, which was very successful this year. Marchetti has recycled many pounds of clay using the pug mill.

Marchetti has not finalized his plans after high school but he did see two ceramic departments in Boston: the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Marchetti’s clay work is on view at the library.
