Conrad Harding, 63, son of Beniah C. Harding and the late Ida May (Hart) Harding, died of a heart attack while swimming during vacation in Bali, Indonesia, on Jan. 2, 2010. He was born Dec. 10, 1946, in Washington, D.C.
Conrad graduated from Georges Valley High School in 1965. He graduated from Tufts University in 1969 and later studied at Simmons College School of Library Science.
He had a restaurant in Provincetown and engaged in real estate on Cape Cod and Florida; he was active in e-mail for several years.
Conrad lived in Thailand for the last three years and enjoyed its people, landscape and warmth. He was a volunteer at the Bangkok National Museum and at one time was news editor for its periodical.
He was a member of the Maine Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.
As desired, he will be buried at sea.
His sole survivor is his father.
