The Camden Hills Regional High School Band, directed by Nancy Rowe, will hold its annual Winter Concert Thursday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Strom Auditorium of the school, Route 90. Groups to be featured include the Concert, Symphonic and Jazz bands.

The ensembles will perform a wide variety of repertoire including holiday favorites such as “Auld Lang Syne,” “I Saw Three Ships” and “Bashana Haba ‘ah.” The CHRHS Chorale will perform with the Symphonic Band in a celebration of Kwanzaa titled “Imani.” Junior All-State trombonist Carrick Gamble will be featured in the Jazz Band’s rendition of “God Bless the Child.” Also performing solos with the Jazz Band are Evan Bianchi and Harry Podolsky.

Admission to the concert is free, although audience members are asked to bring non-perishable food items to help the area’s needy during the winter months.  Snow date for the event is Thursday, Jan. 21.
