Andrew Stancioff will give an illustrated talk on “Poverty, Resources, and Conflict in Niger” at the Camden Public Library. Stancioff, of Spruce Head, is a geologist and environmental consultant who has done extensive research on Zaire/Congo, Guinea, Central Africa, Niger, and Mauritania. Stancioff is a natural resource planner, analyst, and manager with 45 years of experience in geology, hydrology, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, climatology, and oceanography, working in developing countries in Africa.
