Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice, a member of the Pen Bay Healthcare family of services, will be holding monthly foot clinics in both Knox and Waldo counties through the end of the year.

Sometimes it is awkward or difficult to examine and care for one's feet. If a person has diabetes, circulation problems, visibility or mobility challenges, or is taking anticoagulation medication, it is especially important to make sure that foot care is part of an overall health plan.

The KWL Foot Clinic includes careful toenail trimming by a registered nurse, examinations for infection or other problems and a foot bath and lotion massage for comfort. Cost per appointment is $40.

Clinics at the KWL Rockland office, 170 Pleasant St., are the third Wednesday of the month through December 2010: July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 15.

For more information, or to make an appointment, please call 594-9561 and ask for Diane.
