Youthlinks students become farmhands

Apr 16, 2014
Students in the Rockland After School Alliance recently became farmhands at Aldermere Farm in Rockport.

Rockland — Five eager Youthlinks students can now proudly say they know how to halter and lead a cow.

Youthlinks, a program of the Rockland After School Alliance, partnered with Aldermere Farm to take on the challenge of becoming farmhands. With patience, determination, and a few snow days to throw them off, the students succeed in haltering the young calves. Youthlinks would like to thank Sarah Post from Aldermere Farm for her support and guidance for the young farmhands.

Youthlinks is a program of Broadreach Family & Community. For more information concerning the Rockland After School Alliance, please contact Youthlinks: 594-2221 or visit youthlinksonline.org/RASA.
