Youthlinks food drive under way at Rockland schools

Jan 14, 2014

Rockland — The Youthlinks Community Action Team is running a week long food drive in support of Rev. Martin Luther King Day.

Please bring non-perishable food items to the Oceanside High School East or Rockland District Middle School between Tuesday, Jan. 14 and Friday, Jan. 17.

The food will be donated and used for the soup kitchen at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Rockland.

Youthlinks, which operates afterschool and summer programming for middle and high school students offers a session four times a year that provides high school students with an opportunity to serve the community by preparing and serving meals at the St. Peters Episcopal Church soup kitchen.
