Youthful blues in city series
Rockland — The weekly blues series at Time Out Pub, 275 Main St., continues Monday, Oct. 21. JP Blues will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. in the upstairs music room. Admission is $10.
JP Blues has been touring and working the blues scene since age 13. His first CD, at the age 17, raised some eyes, and his second, on Midnight Circus Records, hit No. 4 on the RMR blues charts and remained in the top 50 for more than 28 weeks. JP Blues latest CD, "Make Room at the Table," reveals a maturing up-and-coming blues artist and songwriter.
The series’ annual Halloween party Oct. 28 will feature the Juke Joint Five ($10). For more information about blues in Rockland, visit northatlanticbluesfestival.com.
