Windjammers, Eagles split in April 17 diamond play

Rockport — The regular season for high school baseball and softball is but a few days away as many teams have been out on their respective diamonds in preseason action.

The Camden Hills squads hosted Messalonskee of Oakland on Thursday, April 17 in preseason affairs as the squads earned a split on the afternoon.

The Windjammer baseball team posted a 4-2 win over the Eagles, while the Camden Hills softball squad dropped a 5-2 decision to Messalonskee.
