Rockport — The Windjammer Barbershop Chorus will present its 21st annual show, Barbershop Potpourri, Saturday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St.

This year's program will include the chorus; the Noreaster's Barbershop Chorus of Bath plus the combined choruses of 28 men; Starboard Watch Quartet; In the Mix mixed quartet; Off the Tracks men's quartet; and Back Bay Four, a local favorite quartet from the greater Portland area.

Barbershop music is a wonderful a cappella style of music that involves a lot of fun. The Windjammers are directed by Kathy Robitaille of Alna and Assistant Director Granville Ames of Washington.

Tickets can be purchased from chorus members, at Harbor Audio Video II or by calling Amy Joy at 542-6197. Tickets are $15, $12 for students and senior citizens. There will be an Afterglow — a cast party of sorts that the public is invited to — offering food, fun and more music. Tickets for the Afterglow are $6 and can be purchased that evening at the door.
