Rockport — The Camden Hills Regional High School freshmen girls basketball team had a tough season record-wise in 2012-13, but game outcomes can be deceiving in the level of talent on the hardwood.

Led by coach Kim Kuhn, the Windjammers finished with a 3-12 record, playing a mixture of Class A, B and C freshmen and junior varsity opponents.

Team members included Adrianna Goodale, Elizabeth Cummons, Avery Roy, Taylor Peasley, Lydia Hill, Brooke Benson, Emma McGurren, Katie Clossey, Kayloni Hall, Kathryn Snyder, Victoria Anderson and Kristen Keiran.

Kuhn said her squad was "very fortunate as a freshmen team to play [an] ample amount of games compared to other programs."

"It's going to be fun to follow these girls for the next three years in high school because they work so hard in practice and they want to get better, which made it exciting for me to coach them," she said.
