Wilton teaches at Sweet Tree
Hope — Sweet Tree Arts, the new L3C arts and education center, will host a weekend intensive and weekly class in digital photography at its Sweetland Center, 4 Church St. Both will be helmed by local photographer Amy Wilton.
Basic Photographic Lighting is offered Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This class is for photographers who have a working knowledge of their DSLR cameras and want to learn more about how to consciously and creatively use light in their images. Covered will be both indoor and outdoor lighting options, how to use reflectors and other tricks of the trade.
A six-week Basic Photography course will run Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning Feb. 27. Participants will learn how to use their digital camera's controls to make compelling images.
