WHO NEEDS RABIES?

By Pope Memorial Humane Society Of Knox County | Nov 11, 2013

Sat. Nov. 23, 11:30-1:00. Rabies is something nobody needs, so hustle your pets to the Warren Fire Department on Western Road in Warren. The Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County is sponsoring the clinic, and Dr. Craig Underhill will be administering the vaccinations.

There have been incidents of rabies in the mid-coast area, and even though pets are indoors only, a rabies vaccination is still a good idea.

Cats should be in a proper pet carrier and dogs must be on a leash. Kittens must be at least three months old and puppies must be at least four months old. Pet owners should bring a record of the pet’s last rabies shot if applicable. For more information about the clinic or the program, call the shelter at 594-2200 or visit www.hskcME.org.
