Wet, unplayable conditions spoil May 19 schedule

Persistent spring rain and wet, unplayable fields/courts have forced many high school events scheduled for Monday, May 19 to be postponed.

The following is a recap of changes:

Baseball

Searsport at Sumner - postponed to May 20 or May 21 at 4:30 p.m.

Nokomis at Mount View - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Camden Hills at Belfast - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Medomak Valley at Oceanside - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Softball

Searsport at Sumner - postponed to May 20 or May 21 at 4:30 p.m.

Nokomis at Mount View - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Camden Hills at Belfast - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Medomak Valley at Oceanside - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Boys tennis

Medomak Valley at Camden Hills - 3 p.m. (Midcoast Recreation Center, switched from previous 4 p.m. outdoor start)

Belfast at Maranacook - postponed to May 22 at 4 p.m.

Maine Central Institute at Oceanside - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Girls tennis

Maranacook at Belfast - postponed to May 22 at 4 p.m.

Camden Hills at Medomak Valley - postponed to May 20 at 4 p.m.

Oceanside at Maine Central Institute - postponed to May 24 at 11 a.m. (now moved to Rockland from Pittsfield)
