Weather perfect for local Easter egg hunt

Rockland — More than 100 children enjoyed the annual Easter egg hunt at Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church April 19.

Weather conditions were perfect for the youngsters of all ages to search the grounds for the 1,200 colorful eggs which held anything from candy to coins to blessings. Some contained special ribbons that meant they received an extra something special inside.

Easter is observed Sunday, April 20 this year.
