Washington sets deadline for nomination papers

Washington — One three-year selectman seat and a two-year seat on the Regional School Unit 40 Board of Directors are open for the upcoming election to be held March 21.

Duane Vigue's term on the Board of Selectmen and Guy Bourie's term on the RSU 40 board both expire this year. Both have taken out nomination papers.

Nomination papers are available at the town office and are due by the close of business  (1 p.m.) Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Filing must be done by direct delivery of the original documents, which must include a minimum of 25 signatures of qualified registered voters.
