Photo by: Vic Oboyski The Masons of Mt. Olivet Lodge sponsored a well-attended Breakfast with Santa Dec. 14 much to the appreciation of children and adults alike. Besides the meal and a chance to talk to Santa (or maybe one of his helpers — I can never be sure) kids were given a photo of themselves with the Jolly Old Elf. Pictured here are Logan, left, and Brody Vigue with Santa.

Winter Solstice Drum Ceremony

This Sunday, Dec. 22 all are welcome to join the drum ceremony at Gibbs Library in honor of the Winter Solstice and to concentrate on peace and healing. This observance, held on the Solstices and Equinoxes is one of hundreds of similar gatherings all over the world. Based on Native American tradition, the ceremony is both unique and universal. It begins at 11 a.m. and lasts for a couple of hours (if you need to leave before that, it’s certainly OK). Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about these observances here and far away. Connie Bellet will be glad to talk to you if you have questions. Call her at 993-2294.

Merry Christmas. God bless everyone. No exceptions.
