Washington farmers plan holiday market
Washington — The Washington Grange Farmers Market expands for the Christmas season into its annual holiday market.
On two Saturdays, Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the market will include a large array of local arts, crafts and farm products. They will offer bird feeders, cards, personal care items, flower arrangements, aprons, baked goods, fancy cheeses and dairy products, free range meats and eggs, handmade baskets, preserves, cashmere, wool, winter salad greens, Paula Green cards and T-shirts, and a variety of artwork from the former Downtown Gallery collaborative.
The holiday market is a friendly and festive opportunity to shop for gifts as well as for oneself, to join in the goodwill and amity of these vendors, and to support local businesses and individuals.
The market will be held at Evening Star Grange Hall, 31 Old Union Road, Washington.
