The Scouts of Pack & Troop 254 in Warren gathered this past Saturday to kick off this holiday season's "Scouting for Food" Community Service project. With their Scouting for Food program, the Scouts are collecting non-perishable food to be donated to the Warren food pantry, "Bread for the Journey," which is located at the Warren Baptist Church. Information flyers were handed out at over 500 homes in Warren.
The Scouts are looking for donations of:

Cereal, baby formula, baby cereal, canned soups/stews, canned vegetables, powdered milk, canned fruit, canned meats/fish, peanut butter (in plastic jars), jams/jellies (in plastic jars), dried beans/rice/noodles, canned milk, condiments (in plastic jars), and other non-perishable goods.

The Scouts will be returning to pick up the items on Saturday, November 17th. Please place your donation in a paper or plastic bag on your doorstep by 9:00 AM. Thank you for helping the Scouts help families in need within our community during the holiday season.
