Warren — Girl Scout Troop 1160, comprised of girls Brownie through Cadette level, chose to stuff stockings for their community service project.

The girls collected stocking stuffers from the community through outreach boxes placed in various businesses and churches. On Dec. 18, the scouts selected items for 49 stockings, wrapped them and delivered them to the Bread for the Journey food pantry, located at the Warren Baptist Church.

In all, 18 youth and 31 adults were given stockings this year.

The troop would like to thank all supporters for their donations and for helping make someone else's life a bit merrier during the Christmas season.
