Warren Day expanded to two days
Warren — The Saturday, June 23 rain storm did not dampen the spirits of those attending Warren Day.
The parade and several activities went off without a hitch before the clouds rolled in later in the day, leading to the street dance and fireworks being postponed until the following evening, June 24.
Leland "Hubby" and Valerie Boggs served as the grand marshals of the parade. Both have been residents of Warren all their lives and are both ninth generation descendants of the first settlers of Warren. They are the owners of Boggs Homes and founding members of Warren Day, started by the Warren Civic League, a group of Warren businessmen, in the early 1960s.
