Walker's leadership lauded
This year's NASSP Principals Award goes to Camilla Walker, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Walker of Lincolnville.
This year's recipient of the NASSP Principals Award was selected to represent Camden Hills Regional High School because of her strong leadership skills, academic record and her involvement in co-curricular activities. One hundred national PLA winners will be chosen this spring to receive a college scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $12,000.
The NASSP administers the National Honor Society, and promotes the intellectual growth, academic achievement and character as well as the leadership development of youth through its programs and student leadership services. In recognizing leadership in co-curricular activities as well as academic performance, the Principal's Leadership Award scholarship recognizes the importance of a well-rounded education.
