Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 163 calls for service from Feb. 26 to March 5. Below are a few of the highlights:
Feb. 26
Officer Thomas Bartunek summoned Gordon Webster, 41, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn arrested Jeremy Carey, 35, of Waldoboro, for domestic violence assault.
Feb. 27
Officer Bartunek and Detective Jason Benefield investigated a report of burglary.
Feb. 28
Officer Sean Kozer investigated a crash on the Winslows Mills Road at 6:26 a.m. Jonathan Achorn, 30, of Friendship, was driving a 2004 Dodge pickup truck northbound on Winslows Mills Road when he lost control. Achorn's vehicle went off the road, spun sideways, went down an embankment into a brook. No injuries were sustained in the incident.
Officer Thomas Hoepner summoned a 12-year-old male of Waldoboro for assault and terrorizing.
March 1
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of the theft of a cellphone.
Hoepner summoned a 13-year-old female from Union for possession of marijuana.
Kozer investigated a crash at the Chapel Road/Feyler’s Corner intersection at 4:31 p.m. Caleb Corbin, 18, of Nobleboro, was turning left onto Feyler's Corner Road when his 2008 Dodge van was struck by Nicole Thomas, 19, of Waldoboro, who was driving a 2001 Dodge pickup truck. Thomas was traveling north. Unidentified Injuries were sustained.
March 3
Fuller investigated an unwanted person complaint. The subject was found and warned on harassment.
Fuller investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle.
