Waldoboro police blotter
Waldoboro officers responded to 327 calls for service from Feb. 11 to 26. Below are a few of the highlights:
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on the Bremen Road at 4:07 p.m. Karl Eschholz, 40, from Tenants Harbor, was traveling north on Bremen Road in his driving a 2002 Toyota pickup truck when he lost control, crossed the center line and entered the southbound lane. Eschholz's vehicle struck a 2009 Ford sedan driven by Tyler Waltz, 23, from Nobleboro, who was traveling south. Both drivers sustained injuries.
Officer Sean Kozer investigated an accident on the Chapel Road at 2:39 p.m. Tristan Look, 16, from Waldoboro was traveling north on Chapel Road in a 1999 Ford pickup truck. Ryan Economy, 17, from Warren was driving a 2005 Chevrolet sedan. Both were traveling north on the Chapel Road when Look passed on a crest, lost control, rolled over and struck a tree. Both drivers were injured.
Officer Thomas Bartunek summoned Thomas Mullen, 54, New Harbor, for an uninspected motor vehicle.
Bartunek is investigating a report of an unwanted subject.
Detective Jason Benefield is investigating a report of telephone harassment.
Officer Sean Kozer arrested Bernadine Pozerycki, 45, of Waldoboro, for domestic violence assault.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn investigated an accident on the Winslows Mills Road at 8:23 p.m. Russell Schofield, 66, of Waldoboro, was traveling south in a 2004 Jeep Utility vehicle when he crossed the center line striking Linda Papineau, 52, of Pittston. Papineau was traveling north in her 2010 Dodge pickup truck. Possible injuries indicated on the report.
Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Aaron Armstrong, 32, of Jefferson, on a warrant.
Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated an accident at the Main Street, Jefferson Street intersection at 11:40 a.m. Susan Mueller, 77, of Friendship, was driving a 2009 Ford sedan south on Main Street when she was struck by Mary Rolerson, 58, of Waldoboro. Rolerson was headed west on Jefferson Street in her 2010 Dodge sedan and failed to yield to Mueller. No injuries were reported.
Kozer investigated an incident of criminal mischief to a tractor.
Joslyn investigated a complaint of phone harassment. The subject was found and warned on harassment.
Bartunek and Sgt. Jamie Wilson are investigating a complaint of theft of a 2002 Chevrolet sedan.
Wilson summoned Jeremy Peterson, 23, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension.
Joslyn investigated a report of a mailbox being hit by a motor vehicle.
Joslyn investigated a report of a theft.
