Waldoboro officers responded to 156 calls for service from Dec. 3 to 10. Below are a few of the highlights:
Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating the theft of approximately $815 worth of items.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn summoned a 13-year-old male for domestic violence assault.
Officer John Lash arrested Derek Hannon, 22, of Rockland for criminal mischief.
Chief William Labombarde is investigating a report of the theft of a cell phone.
Officer Bartunek is investigating a report of criminal mischief to a mailbox.
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of theft of a vehicle mirror.
Fuller investigated an accident on the North Nobleboro Road at 12:49 p.m. Lydia Brown, 18, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2004 Jeep utility vehicle and failed to yield the right of way, attempting to go around Jennifer Sykes, 16, of Waldoboro, who was turning left into a driveway while driving a 2003 Saab sedan. No injuries were reported.
Fuller investigated an accident on the Washington Road at 2:40 p.m. David Ricker, 59, of Wiscasset, was driving a 2000 Dodge pickup and struck the rear of a 2001 Chrysler sedan driven by Todd Arvidson, 46, of Warren, as Arvidson was making a left turn into a driveway on the Washington Road. After being struck, Arvidson put his foot on the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing his vehicle to skid down the driveway and strike a 2001 Audi sedan last known to be driven by Cindy Konecny, 21, of Waldoboro.
Joslyn summoned Annette Berlin, 57, of Warren for an uninspected vehicle.
Fuller investigated an accident on Main Street at 6:48 a.m. Carrie Perkins, 39, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet blazer west on Main Street, left the road due to weather conditions, and came to rest in the westbound lane ditch. No injuries were reported.
Fuller is investigating a report of the theft of a movie.
