Waldoboro — Waldoboro officers responded to 140 calls for service from Nov. 27 to Dec. 3. Below are a few of the highlights:

Nov. 27

Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a complaint of the theft of a generator.

Officer Thomas Hoepner summoned a 17-year-old juvenile for criminal threatening.

Officer Jeremy Joslyn arrested Derek Bragg, 24, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

Nov. 28

Officer Kozer is investigating a report of the theft of a radio and some money.

Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a crash on Atlantic Highway at 6:44 p.m. Travis Rideout, 23, of Holden, was driving a 1995 Mitsubishi sedan and lost control due to road conditions. Rideout crossed the center line and struck Maureen Hoffman, 56, of Newcastle, who was driving a 2004 Honda sedan. Rideout complained of pain.

Nov. 29

Officer Joslyn arrested Dierdre Albert, 40, of Bristol for criminal mischief.

Kozer investigated a crash on Atlantic Highway at 2:13 p.m. Chace Hayes, 16, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet pickup on Manktown Road and rear-ended Zachary Rideout, 17, of Warren, whose 1998 Chevrolet pickup was stopped at a stop sign.

Sgt. Jamie Wilson arrested Donald Prior, 39, of Bremen, for a violation of conditional release and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

Dec. 1

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of theft.

Officer John Lash investigated a crash on Friendship Road at 8:06 p.m. Kelsea Wotton, 16, of Friendship, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet sedan and lost control due to road conditions. Wotton's vehicle went into southbound ditch and struck two trees. No injuries were reported.

Dec. 2

Fuller is investigating a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.

Wilson is investigating a report of harassment.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
