Waldoboro — Waldoboro police responded to 262 calls March 28 - April 10. Below are the highlights.

March 29

Officer Larry Hesseltine summoned John Crowell, 59, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle.

Hesseltine arrested Norma Carter, 26, of Waldoboro, for forgery and theft.

Hesseltine arrested Shawn Sabins, 35, of Waldoboro, for forgery, theft, and violation of a protection from abuse order.

Hesseltine investigated a report from the Town of Waldoboro, of criminal mischief to windows at the Friendship Headstart. (Approximately $900 in damage.)

Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a chain-reaction crash on Atlantic Highway at 5:31 p.m. Lester Brown, 48, was eastbound in a 2002 GMC utility vehicle and followed too closely to Christine Rudalevige, 49, of Brunswick, who was stopped in traffic in a 2010 Ford sedan. The impact forced Rudalevige into a third vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet sedan driven by Tracy Myers, 40, of Hughesville, PA. Passenger Patricia Brown, 83, received minor injuries, as did Allaura Elliott, 27, a passenger in Rudalevige's vehicle.

March 30

Hesseltine arrested Keith Shaw, 45, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension, failing to stop for a police officer and violation of conditional release.

Hesseltine summoned Travis Brewer, 28, of Nobleboro, for operating a vehicle with an expired license.

March 31

Hesseltine arrested Amanda Hendrickson, 30, of Hampden, for operating under the influence.

April 1

Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a crash on Winslow Mills Road at 8:43 a.m. Frederick McLaughlin, 41, of Jefferson, was driving a 2006 Volvo utility vehicle south when his vehicle slid off the road due to slushy conditions and struck an embankment. The vehicle came to a stop in the northbound roadside area. Injuries were reported.

Fuller investigated a report of the theft of some rope.

April 2

Hesseltine investigated a report of threatening phone calls.

April 3

Fuller arrested Robert Burgess, 29, of Waldoboro, for criminal mischief and domestic assault.

Hesseltine summoned Janelle Burns, 26, of Friendship, for operating after suspension.

April 5

Hesseltine summoned Alexander Raye, 40, of Jefferson, for uninspected motor vehicle and inadequate tires.

Hesseltine summoned Adam Eutsler, 18, of Waldoboro, for speed

Hesseltine summoned Adam Miller, 40, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance.

Officer John Lash summoned a 17-year-old female, from Washington, for assault.

Hesseltine arrested Robert Shenette, 48, of Morehead, Ky., for operating after suspension, violation of conditional release and a warrant.

April 7

Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a crash on Deaver Road at 3:28 a.m. Carl Hayes, 22, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2011 GMC pickup truck eastbound following the roadway when he went off the road on the opposite side and struck a utility pole guy wire. No injuries were reported.

Fuller investigated a report from All Play of a theft of services.

Fuller investigated a burglary report. No details available.

Fuller investigated a report of an unwanted subject. Subject was found and warned on trespass.
