Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 110 calls for service between March 20 and March 28. Below are a few of the highlights.
Officer Larry Hesseltine summoned Vincenzo Rotondo, 50, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle.
Hesseltine investigated a crash on Winslows Mills Road at 6:30 a.m. Nathan Beck, 28, of Waldoboro, was southbound in a 2009 Jeep when he swerved out of control on black ice. Beck went off the road on the right, struck a snow bank and speed limit sign. No injuries were reported.
Officer Chris Spear summoned Alina Diaz, 30, of Waldoboro, for failure to show proof of insurance, unregistered motor vehicle, and expired driver’s license.
Spear summoned a 15-year-old male from Union for possession of marijuana.
Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a report from Liberty Arms of the theft of some UPS packages.
Wilson investigated a report of harassing text messages. Subject was found and warned on harassment.
Hesseltine arrested Keith Shaw Jr., 45, of Waldoboro, for burglary and aggravated assault.
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a crash on Winslows Mills Road at 9:58 a.m. Jacob White, 17, of Waldoboro, lost control of his 2007 Chevrolet sedan due to road conditions, crossed the center line and came to a stop after rolling over in the northbound lane. Minor injuries were reported.
Spear summoned Brooke Pacy, 83, of Waldoboro, for improper pass.
