Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 145 calls for service between Sept. 26 and Oct. 3. Below are a few of the highlights.
Officer Jeffery Fuller summoned Jason Gallagher, 36, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension.
Fuller investigated a criminal mischief complaint from an individual who reported he had two vehicles egged the previous night.
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Finntown Road at 7:27 p.m. Cameron Allaire, 17, of Washington, was traveling north on Finntown Road in a 2003 Honda Utility vehicle when a deer crossed the road in front of him and he struck the deer. No injuries were reported.
Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a criminal mischief complaint that someone spray-painted a residence.
Officer Chris Spear summoned Paul Scott, 45, of Nobleboro, for imprudent speed.
Hesseltine arrested Mary-Jean Reynolds, 57, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.
Hesseltine arrested Joshua Glidden, 31, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.
Fuller investigated an accident in the Hannaford parking lot. Dorcelle Brown, 74, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2014 Jeep utility vehicle and failed to yield the right of way to Cynthia Laine, 76, of Jefferson, who was driving a 2017 Hyundai sedan. Brown's vehicle struck Laine's in the side as they passed. No injuries were reported.
Fuller summoned Andrew Benner, 26, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension.
