Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 174 calls for service between March 18 and 25. Below are a few of the highlights:
Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a crash on Atlantic Highway at 9 a.m. Alicia Kirkpatrick, 28, of Nobleboro, was stopped at the intersection to make a left hand turn in her 2014 Mazda utility vehicle. Wende McIlwain, 71, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was stopped behind Kirkpatrick in a 2012 Subaru sedan. Leila Murphy 44, of Rockland, was traveling east in a 2007 Subaru sedan and hit McIlwain from behind, pushing her into Kirkpatrick. No injuries were reported.
Chief William Labombarde arrested Jillian Richards, 24, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.
Hesseltine investigated a report of theft of some money.
Hesseltine summoned Mary Ginnaty, 34, of Bremen, for possession of a useable amount of marijuana.
Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated a report of damage to mailboxes.
Officer Andrew Santheson summoned Matthew Benner, 38, of Waldoboro, for failure to show proof of insurance.
Santheson summoned Joshua Clough, 18, of Rockland , for speed and carrying passengers beyond intermediate license.
Hesseltine summoned Shane McClintick, 20, of Waldoboro, for uninspected motor vehicle.
Hesseltine arrested Anthony Felits, 28, of Waldoboro, for domestic violence assault and violation of conditional release.
Hoepner investigated a report of the theft of some electronics.
