Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 169 calls for service Oct. 29 through Nov. 4. Below are a few of the highlights.

Oct. 30

Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a report of the theft of an inspection sticker.

Nov. 1

Sgt. Jamie Wilson arrested Jonathan Tarr, 36, of Waldoboro for a domestic violence assault.

Nov. 2

Officer Thomas Hoepner arrested a 15-year-old female from Waldoboro for shoplifting.

Nov. 4

Hesseltine investigated a crash at Atlantic Highway, Depot Street/Jefferson Street intersection at 12:50 p.m. Jessica Crosby, 31, of Warren was traveling north on Atlantic Highway in a 2006 Suzuki sedan. Megan Green, 21, of Waldoboro was crossing over Atlantic Highway from Depot Street to Jefferson Street, and failed to yield right of way to Crosby. Green's 2005 utility vehicle struck Crosby. No injuries were reported.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
