Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 298 calls for service between Oct. 7 and Oct. 20. Below are a few of the highlights:
Officer John Lash investigated a report from Hannaford of a burglary with a large amount of damage done to the building and an ATM.
Officer William Bragg investigated a report from the Big Apple of a $10 gasoline drive off.
Bragg investigated a report of the theft of a truck and some other items from a residence.
Officer Andrew Santheson investigated a crash in the Waldoboro Family Medicine parking lot at 11:15 a.m. Patricia Spofford, 77, of Waldoboro was driving a 2004 Ford utility vehicle and struck the driver's side bumper of a parked vehicle owned by Edward Worthley, 49, of Thomaston. Worthley's vehicle was a 2013 Ford sedan. No injuries were reported.
Santheson investigated a report of theft of $880 worth of coins from a residence.
Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Joey Lee Peaslee, 32, of Jefferson on a warrant.
Sgt. Jamie Wilson arrested Allaura Elliot, 23, of Nobleoboro for theft of a VCR.
Wilson investigated a report of the theft of an Apple iPhone.
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report of harassment.
Fuller investigated a report of stolen flowers from a local bakery.
Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated a report that a vehicle was keyed while parked at the high school.
