Waldoboro Day welcomes artisans, crafters
Waldoboro — Local Waldoboro residents and those of the surrounding Midcoast towns are welcome to apply for a vendor location on Waldoboro Day.
The Waldoboro day Committee will be assigning spots along Friendship Street for people to sell handmade arts and crafts. An application form is available online from the town website waldoboromaine.org or call Caren Clark at 832-0633 to mail one.
The locations are all outdoors and vendors must supply their own tables and tent. Set-up time will begin at 6:30 a.m. and all vehicles must be moved to a legal parking spot by 8 a.m. Booths can be packed up no earlier than 2 p.m. There are a limited number of spaces available and the committee will do their best to choose diverse products from the most local vendors that apply. The entire parking lot behind the pharmacy building will be open for public parking, as well as the lot on Glidden Street, behind the Waldo Theatre and at the Pine Street Landing.
Applications are due by Saturday, May 31 and a $10 fee will be due upon acceptance to this event.
