Rockland — Rock City Cafe's Velvet Lounge is back and ready for amazing music with Gypsy Caravan Friday, Oct. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rock City Cafe, 318 Main St.

The Belfast-based Gypsy Caravan performs in the gypsy jazz or manouche style. It builds upon the traditions of Django Reinhardt's music while getting inspiration from modern players such as Bireli Lagrene, John Jorgenson, Robin Nolan and Frank Vignola. the band’s musicians are David Clarke on lead guitar, Wayne Delano on saxes, Dan Clarke on rhythm guitar and Herb Maine on acoustic bass.
