Vanorse — Spicer wedding
Saint George — Holly Vanorse and Justin Spicer were surrounded by family and friends as they exchanged their wedding vows on Nov. 5, 2011, near the pond at The Wedding and Event Center at Echo Hill. The bride's cousin, Heidi Vanorse Neal officiated the ceremony.
The bridal party included maid of honor Jessica Dickey, and bridesmaid Nicole Vanorse, the bride's older sister. Standing up with the groom was best man Luke Priestley and groomsman Will Trask. The bride's nephew Oliver Vanorse-Jones was the ring-bearer. The bride was given away by her mother and father.
The reception was held at The Wedding and Event Center at Echo Hill with catering provided by The Sugar Tree. Reception music was provided by The Murder Weapon. Photography was by Kari and Josh Cross of Kari J. Cross Photography. The cake was created by Margaret Vanorse, the bride's younger sister.
The bride is the daughter of Harold and Susan Vanorse of Rockport. She is employed as a sports photographer and writer for VillageSoup and is the owner of Ados Photography. The groom is the son of Linda Spicer of Brewer and the late Jonathan Spicer of Rockland. He is employed as a foreman with Maine Coast Construction.
The couple would like to thank everyone in attendance for sharing in their special day.
