Vacation Bible School
The children attending Aldersgate United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School during the winter vacation adopted the Seacoast Mission as their Outreach Program. Their theme "Lighthouse Kids", with its focus on carrying God's light into the world, lent itself to purposes for which the Seacoast Mission exists.
This ecumical ministry does much of its work among Maine Coast Islands using a boat called "The Sunbeam". The children were pleased to be able to support the Mission's Ministry to island populations by collecting toiletries to be shared among the Islands.
In addition to the Mission Project there was also a field trip to the Maine Lighhouse Museum in Rockland with a wonderful tour led by docent Marla Rogers.

Thank You Valerie Stevens for all you did to make this a huge success. You are a wonderful person! Love YOu! Lisa Stevens
