Unique antique railroad track cars will visit Waldo County on June 19th. The Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad will be hosting a National Group of Rail Motor Car Owners!  20-30 antique railroad track inspection vehicles will tour the railroad starting at City Point Station in Belfast.

Various owners and operators spend hours restoring rare railroad track cars. These groups tour the United States offering the public a rare chance to view the cars.

The motor car owners will depart City Point between 8am and 8:30am. They will travel to Brooks, arriving there at approx. 9am – 9:30am. They will stop for lunch in Unity at 12 noon.

The Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad operates weekend train excursions departing City Point at 11am & 2pm Saturdays and Sundays Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Adults $14.00, Seniors $12.00 and children 3-12 $5.00. Special trains, including pizza trains and chocolate trains also are available. For more information visit www.belfastandmooseheadlakerail.org
